We are excited to invite to you our upcoming DTE-sponsored one-week Faculty Development Program on, “Unveiling the Latest Advancements in Material Characterization for Civil Engineering“, at CET during the first week of December (4/12/23 to 09/12/23). This course is designed to familiarize faculty and researchers with the advancements in material characterization for different classes of Civil engineering materials at different scales of measurement.
The program is handled by a distinguished panel of speakers from central and state institutes, each renowned for their expertise in different facets of material characterization. Expert sessions are planned on the subthemes characterization of cementitious materials, bituminous materials, granular materials, non-contact measurement techniques, and non-destructive testing methods. Additionally, there will be a hands-on demonstration of Non-destructive testing devices. The course will open up different avenues of research in material characterization for those who are planning/ carrying out research.
