The Department of Civil Engineering, College of Engineering Trivandrum in association with the Indian Geotechnical Society (IGS), Thiruvananthapuram Chapter is organising a National Seminar on Modern Geotechnical Practices & Prof TS Ramanatha Ayyar Lecture 2023 on 3rd February 2023 in the fond memory of Prof T S Ramanatha Ayyarat CETAA Hall.
Dr. V. Suresh Babu, Principal, CET will be presiding over the event. National President of IGS – Dr. Anil Joseph, will be inaugurating the event at 9.30 am. Prof. M. R. Madhav is delivering the TSR Lecture. Prof. M. R. Madhav worked as a Professor of Civil Engineering at IIT Kanpur during 1978-2003. Currently, he is with the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University as Professor Emeritus and with IIT, Hyderabad as Visiting Professor. The Resource person for the Technical Seminar is Dr. Anil Joseph, Managing Director of Geostructurals (P) Ltd. And National President of IGS. A field visit is also scheduled for the day.
