B.Tech Lateral Entry Spot Admission -2026

The spot admission for vacant seats of Lateral Entry B.Tech in CET is scheduled for 5^th August 2026

Venue: CEAA Hall, CET

Candidates should report to the venue before 11 am on 5^th August 2026

Candidates reporting after 11 am will not be considered for allotment.

Documents to be submitted for the spot allotment process

1. Candidates already admitted to an Engineering College under the LBS allotment.
   • Data Sheet
   • Admission Slip issued by the college last admitted
   • No Objection Certificate (for all admitted colleges other than govt. engineering colleges/aided engineering colleges/govt. co-shared engineering colleges like CAPE, IHRD, SCTCE etc.)
2. Candidates NOT admitted to an Engineering College under the LBS allotment.
   • Data Sheet
   • If studying in an institution No Objection Certificate (in original or by mail to the Principal, CET from the head of the institution)
   • All the certificates in original
   • If not studying in any institution, all original certificates including TC and conduct Certificate

• Candidates who cannot attend the allotment process in person due to unavoidable personal exigencies can authorize a representative to attend the allotment process on his/her behalf. Such representatives should submit an authorization letter in the prescribed format. No other format will be acceptable. (Download Form for Authorization)
• General students have to pay Rs. 3350 and SC, ST & OEC students Rs. 900 towards Government fee at the time of admission. PTA, bus and CETAA funds are also to be paid (around Rs. 12000/-).
