The College of Engineering Thiruvananthapuram Alumni Association (CETAA) distributed awards for excellence in academics, sports, and arts. The function was held on Thursday 18.04.2024 at CETAA Hall, College of Engineering Trivandrum. Honourable Kerala P.S.C Chairman Dr. M.R. Baiju inaugurated the ceremony and presented the awards to the winners. CETAA also felicitated Miss. Fatima Shimna (2019-Civil Engineering) and Mr.Rahul Raghavan (2018-Mechanical Department) for achieving high rank in the All India civil service examination. Dr.Kuncheria P Issac (Founder and Vice Chancellor of the A P J Abdul Kalam Technological University), Dr.Ashalatha Thampuran (Former Principal-CET), Dr.Bindhu.G.R (Former Principal GEC Thrissur), Dr.Anil.B ( Former Principal GEC Barton Hill),
Dr. Sheela (Former Principal-CET), and Mr.Balu Ayyar (Alumini of 1962 batch) were the chief guest of the function. College Principal Dr Savier J S presided over the ceremony. CETAA Secretary Dr Baiju Sasidharan gave the welcome speech. 69 Gem Scholarships (Growing Engineer Monitoring Support) and 81 CETAA Awards were distributed in the ceremony.
